CCC Section

Comprehensive Care Clinic (CCC) offers comprehensive care to patients with Human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) and/or Tuberculosis (TB). The clinic was established in 2001 as a Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) service necessitated by the high HIV positivity rate in Mathare Valley aggravated by lifestyle, poverty, and lack of awareness. In response to the high demand for various care services, the clinic grew fast, becoming a Nazareth Hospital satellite in 2005 before becoming a primary site sponsored by President's Emergency Program for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in 2008.
