Ruth Nyokabi
Ruth Nyokabi is a Clinical Officer who holds a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).
She joined German Doctors Nairobi in the year 2017 and heads the Non Communicable diseases department (NCDs). She has a great passion for her job and together with German Doctors, she is able to give affordable medical care to the vulnerable patients of Mathare valley. The NCDs are diseases such as Asthma, Diabetes, Sickle cell anaemia, Hypertension, Thyroid, and Epilepsy.
While still with the German doctors, Ruth has also been able to acquire sonographic skills on basic ultrasound. This aids in the diagnosis of certain medical, gynaecological, and obstetrics conditions of patients at the health facility.
