Gaudencia S. Akaka
Gaudencia S. Akaka has 15 years of work experience in the health sector, she previously worked for 13 years in HIV/TB Programs. She joined German doctors in 2020 as a Clinical Officer and is the team leader of Fanaka Medical Centre – Athiriver since its inception in May 2020.
She holds a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Nairobi and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health with a specialty in Health Policy from Moi University.
She is proficient in Project management, Leadership & Management, and Health System Strengthening. She is married and has 4 children.
